CHFA Approves QAP, Invites Public Comment Print E-mail

July 7, 2010 - The 2011 Low-Income Housing Tax Credit Draft Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP) has been approved by the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority's ("CHFA") Board of Directors for public comment and is now available. 

Public comments will be accepted concerning CHFA's intent to adopt amendments to its Low-Income Housing Tax Credit Qualified Allocation Plan and Procedures for the administration of the Federal Low-Income Housing Tax Credit Program. Comments will be accepted through Sept. 8, 2010 at 4 p.m.

Public hearings will be held at the following locations on the dates indicated below:

Wednesday, Aug. 11, 10 a.m., Augustana Homes, 525 Palisade Avenue, Bridgeport.
Wednesday, Aug. 18, 1 p.m., Wauregan Hotel, 25 Broadway, Norwich.  
Thursday, Aug. 26, 10 a.m., CHFA Boardroom, 999 West Street, Rocky Hill.

Copies of the proposed amendments are available by visiting CHFA’s website or by calling (860) 571-4357 or (860) 571-4349.  Written statements, in place of or in addition to oral statements, may be submitted to the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority, 999 West Street, Rocky Hill, CT 06067, to the attention of the President - Executive Director.
